InnoPitch offers all young Europeans to present their startups to a highly respected judging panel composed of Carlos Eduardo ESPINAL from Seedcamp, Anne GLOVER from Amadeus Capital and Matthias UMMENHOFER from European Investment Fund. Startups and individuals with innovative ideas need toapply online with their video pitch before 18th May 2013. The 6 best ones will be invited to come to Brussels on 6 and 7 June where they will participate in a one-to-one feedback session with Carlos Espinal and they will pitch their ideas live in front of the above mentioned judging panel and the entire Unconvention audience including investors, industry experts, policy makers, thought leaders, journalists and young innovators. European Young Innovators Forum will pay for their accommodation expenses and they will also receive free VIP passes to the Unconvention.

The prize
InnoPitch 2013 takes the top 12 finalists and puts them through an intense mentoring workshop with no less than Europe’s top mentor and seed investor Carlos EDUARDO ESPINAL from Seedcamp, nominated by the European Commission as apan-European Startup leader.
The 6 best pitches contesting for the European Young Innovator of the Year 2013 award will:
- Receive in depth feedback and advice from Europe’s leading seed and venture capital investors and experts including Carlos Eduardo ESPINAL, Anne GLOVER and Matthias UMMENHOFER
- Present their ideas to Europe’s political and business leaders, angel and venture capital investors, live in the European Parliament!
- Showcase their ideas in front of the Unconvention audience which exceeds 400 carefully chosen participants and 550,000 unique online participants across Europe and the US
- Receive paid accommodation in Brussels for the duration of the Unconvention for up to two co-founders / team members
- Get two FREE VIP Unconvention passes
- Benefit from FREE advertising on the EYIF website, social media and email newsletters for up to three months after the InnoPitch
Who can participate?
To be eligible to enter InnoPitch 2013 you must be:
- EITHER an early-stage entrepreneur, i.e. those who have set-up their own company / organisation within the period of the last 18 months (maximum);
- OR an intrapreneur, or student with a demonstrable real idea;
- AND a national or resident of the European Union (see section on Eligibility in the Information Pack for details);
- AND under 36 years of age prior to 8th of June 2013.
